About CORF

The California Ornamental Research Federation (CORF) was a statewide partnership of growers, floriculture associations, allied industry and research/educators whose mission was to identify and meet the research and educational needs of the California floriculture industry.

Until 2008, CORF was managed and administered jointly by the Kee Kitayama Research Foundation (www.kkrf.org) and the California Cut Flower Commission (www.ccfc.org). At this time, CORF administration was shifted to the University of California. In 2010, CORF was officially renamed as the University of California Nursery and Floriculture Alliance (UCNFA), reflecting the outreach program's expanding focus to include all aspects of the California nursery and floriculture industry.

CORF News was the newsletter published by the California Ornamental Research Federation during its tenure.
