  • Gerry Spinelli, UC Cooperative Extension San Diego County
    Gerry Spinelli serves as the Production Horticulture Advisor, specializing in irrigation management, water quality, and nitrogen use efficiency in nursery and floriculture systems. His work emphasizes hands-on training and bilingual outreach to support growers in water conservation and regulatory compliance.
  • Bruno Pitton, UC Cooperative Extension Placer and Nevada Counties
    Bruno Pitton is the Environmental Horticulture Advisor, focusing on sustainable irrigation and nutrient management in nursery and greenhouse production. With over two decades of experience, his research includes developing decision-support tools for water reuse and training programs to enhance irrigation efficiency and plant health.

 

Program

Splish splash in irrigation water as the program will begin with short talks from the panelists to let you know of their work on greenhouse and nursery best management practices regarding irrigation. Then the panelists will take questions from participants and offer advice with everyone included.
